Fun Package Friday: Truett-Hurst Paper Wine Bottle

Truett-Hurst Inc, of Healdsburg, will soon release the first paper wine bottle made in the US. The paper wine bottle, branded PaperBoy, is made from recycled cardboard with a plastic liner. It weighs less than two pounds, and the entire package is 85 percent lighter than a glass bottle. The PaperBoy bottle is easily recyclable and collapsable–making it an ideal choice for fisherman, hikers, campers and picnickers.
